The Camarillo Chamber of Commerce represents business to government
The Camarillo Chamber is the largest and most broadly based business organization in the Camarillo area. Chamber members include companies and organizations of all sizes and industries and together they employ about 25,000 individuals in the Camarillo area.
Business Advocacy Mission
To ensure local, state and federal government policies and community decisions are conducive to a strong regional business climate and adequately support quality economic growth and community.
Business Advocacy Committee and Forum
- This committee is the working arm of the Chamber related to advocacy.
- Reviews and analyzes proposed business and community-related Federal, State and local issues and legislation.
- Recommends the policy platform that guides the Chamber in its advocacy role.
- Makes recommendations to the Chamber Board of Directors to support or oppose legislation, ballot proposition, and candidates for office
- Brings together business colleagues, government and education professionals to exchange ideas and learn about current issues.
- Hosts the annual Business & Legislators Forum, Legislative Speaker Series, and State of the City Luncheon. See events.

Collaboration with other business advocacy organization
Chamber is a founding member of the Regional Legislative Alliance of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, an organization of chambers of commerce in the two counties that advocates at the regional, state and national levels, providing additional clout for business in the region. Members of RLA chambers employ 300,000 people. Camarillo Chamber is a member of the California Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Chamber is affiliated with Mobility 21, an advocacy organization for Southern California transportation solutions.
